FlexShade Battery Zigbee pairs with TaHoma Switch for two-way shade control using Zigbee 3.0—no wiring or external wand required.

FlexShade Battery Zigbee features built-in Zigbee 3.0 technology, allowing the shade to communicate directly with other Zigbee-enabled smart home devices. While the shade can broadcast data, the presence of a TaHoma Switch and a Zigbee smart plug ensures reliable mesh communication—especially if one device becomes unresponsive. A built-in lithium-ion battery powers the motor, eliminating the need for wiring.

  • Available in sizes 2’ to 8’ wide, depending on fabric selection.
  • TaHoma Switch required for Zigbee installation; smart plug needed to create mesh network.
  • Offered with a re-loadable battery wand or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery motor.
  • Includes standard mounting brackets; optional fascia with endcaps or headbox with closure available.
  • Designed for interior use.
  • Multi-Shade Capability: Shade can be coupled to operate up to three shades with one motor for streamlined installation and cost efficiency.
