FlexShade ZIP XL with Solar Panel brings energy-efficient automation to outdoor living spaces in a plug-and-play system with a quiet DC motor, solar panel, and built-in battery. No wiring to your home’s electrical system is needed. Advanced power management enables charging without direct sunlight, and adjustable wings help position the solar panel for maximum exposure. It’s our largest ZIP shade, with cradle support for wider widths and minimal deflection. Use Bond Bridge Pro and Bond Breeze Weather Station for smart, weather-responsive control. The ZIP feature keeps fabric in the side channels—ideal for patios, porches, pool houses, and outdoor kitchens.

  • ZIP 127 headbox with 5" height available in angled or curved styles.
  • Side channels mount to face or jamb with a 1-5/8" width.
  • Fabric is retained in the side channels by continuous coil zipper retention system.
  • Can function as an insect screen or interior room divider.
  • Provides wind resistance and smooth operation.
  • Weighted hem bar stabilizes shade movement.
  • Bond Bridge Pro & Breeze Pro wind, rain, and sunlight sensor compatible.
