FlexShade ZIP XL with Solar Panel delivers energy-efficient automation in a plug-and-play solution for motorized roller shades, integrating a DC motor, solar panel, and embedded battery in a pre-wired system. No line voltage is needed, making it ideal where wiring access is limited. Advanced power management enables charging even without direct sunlight, and adjustable wings help ensure the solar panel faces the sun for maximum power output. FlexShade ZIP XL features our largest ZIP and an integrated cradle support system for wider widths with minimal deflection. The ZIP feature keeps fabric in the side channels—ideal for garages, patios, porches, pool houses, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor living spaces.

  • ZIP 127 headbox with 5" height available in angled or curved styles.
  • Side channels mount to face or jamb with a 1-5/8" width.
  • Fabric is retained in the side channels by continuous coil zipper retention system.
  • Can function as an insect screen or interior room divider.
  • Provides wind resistance and smooth operation.
  • Weighted hem bar stabilizes shade movement.
  • Bond Bridge Pro & Breeze Pro wind, rain, and sunlight sensor compatible.
