Despite the increased desire to spend more time outdoors, there are issues which create uncomfortable conditions and make outdoor living less appealing. The first issue is glare. The type of glare that most impacts comfortable outdoor living is direct glare. Direct glare is caused by the disk of the sun. and occurs when the sun is relatively low in the sky.
